I love photography, and it is a blessing for me to be able to do this for a living. I graduated from the University of St. Thomas in Houston with an MBA and BBA in accounting, and worked in that field for a short time. My passion for photography, however, drew me out of the business world and into a profession where I could be more creative.

My training as a photographer began in high school. My parents gave me a Canon AE-1 for Christmas my junior year, and I instantly fell in love with photography and people - capturing their expressions, stopping time, seeing life on paper. Since then I have invested time in classes, seminars and clinics to teach me technique and the mechanics of a camera. I have learned that the “eye of a photographer” cannot be taught. It is truly a God-given gift. I hope I am using it to His glory.
